You register with your name, email and BankID. It takes under three minutes, and you need neither an organisation number, accounting software nor registration with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket). The account is free, and you only pay once an invoice has been paid.

4.9% of the amount you invoice, and only when the client has actually paid. No monthly fee, no lock-in period and no charge for payouts. Invoicing tools, insurance, tax handling and support are all included in the rate.

You must be at least 18, have a Swedish personal identity number or coordination number, a Swedish bank account and the right to work in Sweden. You do not need to be self-employed – quite the opposite, that is the whole point.

Yes, and it is one of the most common ways to use us. There is no minimum: you can invoice one assignment a year or ten a month. Between assignments the account costs nothing.

No. We become your formal employer for each individual assignment, and you receive salary instead of business income. That also means no accounting obligation, no VAT return and no annual accounts.

Enter the client, what you have done and the amount you agreed. We work out the VAT, send the invoice in our name and follow up the payment. The whole flow is described step by step on the Invoicing page.

We set the right VAT rate based on what type of assignment it is – some services are exempt, others carry 25, 12 or 6 percent. You choose the type of assignment, and we take care of the rest and file the VAT return.

Then we chase it. We send a reminder before the due date, a payment reminder after it, and pass the case on to debt collection if that becomes necessary. You should not have to chase money from a client you want to work with again.

Yes. You enter a name and address instead of an organisation number. We cannot credit check private customers the way we can companies, so for larger amounts we recommend payment in instalments.

Yes. We send invoices in several currencies and handle the VAT rules for cross-border assignments. Your pay is paid out in Swedish kronor to a Swedish account.

Expenses you have had in order to carry out the assignment: equipment, software, materials, travel and mileage allowance. Upload the receipt in the app, and the amount is deducted before tax.

Yes. Public sector clients require an electronic invoice in the Peppol BIS format, and we send that automatically when the recipient is a public sector organisation.

We run payroll every working day. If the invoice is paid to us before midday, the money is normally in your account the next working day – within 24 hours of us receiving the payment.

We retrieve your tax table electronically from the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) and make deductions accordingly. Most people are left with around 55–60 percent of the invoice amount after the fee, employer's social security contributions and tax. Use the pay calculator to work it out for your own amount.

Then we deduct 30 percent, as the law requires. The amount is not lost – you get it back in your tax refund. If you submit the details before the next payroll run, we use them instead.

Yes. Occupational injury insurance and liability insurance are included in every assignment, from the very first hour. You do not have to take out anything yourself or register in advance.

You add the people and send us the amounts, either in the app, as an Excel file or via our API. We become the employer, run payroll and send you one consolidated invoice. See the Payouts page for the full setup.

We are. Once a payment run is approved, the people in it are employed by EasyFreelance for that assignment. You buy a service from us and avoid the employer responsibility.

Yes. We have a REST API with a test environment and webhooks, so payments can be sent automatically from time tracking, project tools or an ERP. Raise it in a walkthrough and we will look at your setup.

The invoice covers the fee, the employer's social security contributions and our mark-up. The price depends on volume and on how you submit, so get in touch with the business team and we will run the numbers for you.
